Outline for Planetgreen and Durfur is Dying

Thesis: Playing planetgreen felt more realistic to me because the things that are going on in the game are things that are from our mistakes. For instance I can learn to recycle and how to reduce the usage transportation to simpler vehicles.



Topic # 1. First game I want to talk about is planetgreen and I want to tell you about the qualities of this game. Planetgreen is so realistic because humans of today’s world are responsible for global warming. This game breaks down to us how we can help solve global warming and save our planet from extinction. Through this game you can go around to different places and ask around about what can be done to help solve global warming. You also have to pick your transportation and it’s not good for you to pick an SUV when there is a bicycle for you to ride. The game also gives you interesting facts for you to follow so that you can help with the issue. The game also shows you places that have already made plans for the future to help solve global warming. This game takes you through a series of places and it shows you what can be done to help solve global warming.


TOPIC # 2. Second game that I decided to pick is Darfur is Dying. This game is talking about the people of Darfur and how it is very hard for them to survive. The game shows how the people of Darfur have to scavage for food and water. And every time they go out to look for food they risk their life and possible the chance of capture by the militia. When you play the game it will show you what will happen to that person. Then you have the chance to go live in the camp. Even when you get there it is still very hard to survive. You can catch diseases or even die from hunger. Once you’re done playing the game it will ask you do you want to send a letter to the representatives of their country to help them.
